This is the original two-hour made-for-TV movie pilot of Miami Vice on DVD. Alternately titled “Brother’s Keeper”, this TV movie started five seasons with detectives Crockett and Tubbs.  After Crockett’s partner is killed, he and Tubbs meet and develop a partnership that lasts through 1987.  The pilot also set the standard for the use of popular music in the series: Jan Hammer, Phil Collins, Cyndi Lauper, Rockwell, Rolling Stones, Lionel Richie, etc. Check out the original again…
